Caerfai Bay Caravan and Tent Park consists of three separate enclosures. The Caravan Park is located in the first field also known as “Hanner Guinea” (half a guinea). Hanner Guinea is approximately 4 acres and is licensed for 60 Caravans, both holiday homes and touring caravans. There are 35 touring caravan/motorhome pitches all with hook-ups and sea views, 27 touring pitches are hard standing. The remainder of the caravans are holiday homes, 7 are for hire. Motor homes without awnings may stay in the caravan field subject to caravan rates.
Parc Ffynnon (field of the well) and Rhos Carreg Lwyd (field of the grey rock) are our 2 camping fields for tents and campervans. These have ample electric hook-ups, twelve of these pitches are hardstanding. Dogs are not allowed in the non dog camping area (part of field 3).
The Pembrokeshire coastal path is adjacent to the site entrance with Caerbwdi Bay a short walk to the east and St. Non’s Chapel to the west. For the more serious walker, continue further along the coast to Solva or Whitesands Bay, or even the entire coastline – the choice is yours.
Our office is open daily; the opening times vary with the time of year. Winter office hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 12noon, 1pm to 4pm. April to October: Monday to Friday 9am to 12noon, 1pm to 4:30pm. Saturday and Sunday from 9am until noon . Caerfai Farm Shop is 100 yds from the site entrance and sells milk, cheese, organic produce and other groceries. It is open from the end of May to the beginning of September. St Davids and its shops are a fifteen minute walk away, just under a mile.
There is a regular bus service from St Davids to the railway towns of Haverfordwest and Fishguard. From the start of the School Easter holidays until the last Sunday in September the Celtic Coaster bus runs from St Davids to Whitesands beach, St Justinians and Porth Clais Harbour.
Oriel y Parc, the St Davids visitor centre, is at the top of the Caerfai Road and is run by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in conjunction with The National Museums and Galleries of Wales. The Gallery not only interprets the landscape of Pembrokeshire but houses National and International works of art. The National Park Visitor Centre at its entrance, as well as providing a wealth of local information, has a café and small shop.
