General Information and conditions

·If you have already booked we hope you will enjoy your stay. The Caravan Park is on the RIGHT at the end of Caerfai Road. Please call at the office at the top of the caravan park when you arrive to collect your key, and pay any remaining balance. If you anticipate an arrival later than 5.30p.m. in high season (School summer holidays) or 4.30p.m. in low season, please telephone the office on the day to check arrangements. Normally you are shown personally to your caravan. If there are omissions in the inventory, any problems with equipment in the caravan or other park facilities, please report them to the office immediately. Out of hours, messages can be left in the office post box (also used for outgoing mail) or you can use the ‘out of hours’ telephone number displayed in the office window. There are a few conditions outlined below, which are necessary, both for the safety and comfort of all our guests.

New deposit arrangement made from 2010; We reinstated the key/cleaning deposit, so your first £50 is an additional cost above that illustrated in the table. It will be returned within 2 weeks of the end of your visit providing the caravan has been left in a satisfactory condition by 10a.m. on the morning of departure, part (or exceptionally all) will be retained if extra cleaning is required and/or damage incurred. We will also retain some of this deposit if we have to return property that has been left in the caravan. In the event that the holiday is cancelled this deposit would not normally be returned unless the caravan is re-let for the same price, in which case all the moneys paid will be returned, less £6 administration fee.

·The caravan park licence will not permit more than one car parked a longside the caravan. If you have an extra car, please ask the office staff to allocate an alternative parking space. Some of the park is sloping, and cars should be parked across the slope for safety reasons. There is a speed limit of 10mph, and 5mph where there are ramps.
·The entrance gate is also the only exit from the park, and the park is in the main surrounded by private farmland. Visitors are asked to respect the integrity of the boundary hedges, and not to climb over them or remove stones. If Frisbees etc. need to be retrieved, please ask the staff for help.
·Parents are to be responsible for their children at all times whilst on the park. From the safety aspect, skateboards, roller skates and the flying of kites are not allowed; No type of gun, catapult or kite is permitted on the park, neither is the use of metal detectors Between the hours of 10pm and 8am, motor vehicles must be kept as quiet as possible and sound producing equipment (this includes voices) should not be audible to the neighbouring caravans.
·Avoid the risk of fire: please make sure you use and store electrical and gas equipment safely. Do not allow rubbish to accumulate and keep flammables away from flames and hot surfaces. Check the smoke alarm is working daily and inform the office if there is a problem. In the event of a fire, evacuate the caravan immediately. Only use the extinguisher if it is safe to do so.
