The Lodge

Caerfai Bay Lodge nestled at the front of the Park offers privacy and unrestricted views of the sea. From the glassfronted lodge and balcony there are panoramic sea views across St Brides Bay, extending to Broadhaven and Skomer. Caerfai Bay is a family run, family friendly park, with the emphasis on peace, quiet and relaxation. There are no clubs and no organised entertainment, allowing you to enjoy the tranquillity of this beautiful unspoilt location, in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The lodge offers you spacious and luxurious accommodation that opens onto its large decked balcony. If you can tear yourself away from the view, it is only a few minutes’ walk to Caerfai beach, a sandy bathing beach or into St Davids, the smallest city in the UK.

In St Davids you will find the Cathedral, Bishop’s Palace, Oriel y Parc, cafes, local crafts and much more. The coastal path, winding its way around Pembrokeshire, passes the Park entrance on its journey to nearby Solva Harbour, with its colourful shops, eateries and pubs. With almost everything you need including; central heating and double glazing, flat screen TV, DVD player, free WiFi and private parking, the luxury lodge is proving popular.

The open plan design provides a light and airy living area, where the freestanding furniture can be positioned to fully exploit the panoramic views afforded by the full height windows and French doors, perfect for those sunny days. Our 3 bedroom Lodge comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. The Lodge’s luxurious accommodation comprises:

  • Changes due to Covid-19 outbreak At time of writing Covid is still present in the country although the risks have been reduced due to the vaccination program. For this reason, we will restore some of the bedding to each caravan so that duvets and pillows will be in all the caravans without the need to change them for each booking as we did in 2020 and 2021. Pillow protectors and mattress covers will be changed on the beds that have been used, but only one ‘Tregwynt’ woollen blanket will be supplied to each caravan. We will supply bath mats, oven gloves and if requested, more blankets free of charge.  For the first time we will be charging for bed linen (duvet cover, sheets and pillow covers) at £10 per caravan; this charge, if necessary, can be taken out of the returnable deposit. Two weeks before your arrival you will receive a form which you need to complete, sign and return. On this, you will be able to detail any extra requirements such as bedding and agree to any specific conditions at the time. Our amenity room/laundry room at the top of the office will be closed every Tuesday morning but open the rest of the week. You should also bring your own towels, tea towels and dishcloths.
  • Non-smoking and non-pet accommodation.
  • High chairs and cots available, free of charge.
