We are opening for static caravan stays from the 13th July 2020.
We have received notification from the Welsh Government today that we are permitted to open for static caravan stays from the 13th July 2020. As static caravans have their own bathroom and kitchen they are considered self-contained accommodation and as such those who have booked our static caravans will be able to holiday with us from the 13th July.
The site is still closed for touring, motorhome and camping pitches. We are awaiting updates from the Welsh Government regarding whether touring and motorhome units with their own facilities (but using shared chemical and grey waste points) will be permitted to stay as part of Wales turning amber based on the traffic light system.
We are not taking any new camping/touring bookings for 2020 until we know when we will be opening fully. If you wish to be kept up to date with when we will be opening and taking new bookings, please sign up to our newsletter – you can subscribe via our website homepage or keep checking our Website, Facebook or Instagram.
We are expecting to be permitted to re-open under phased conditions, static hire is now the first step. We believe the next may be touring caravans/motorhomes who do not need access to shared facilities – we will keep you updated as we find out more.
Thank you to everyone for being so understanding and for your patience – most of our staff are still on furlough but will be joining us back at Caerfai Bay in the next few weeks.
We wish you and your loved ones well. Take care, stay safe, and best wishes from the Caerfai Bay family.
